Production and Operational Performance of Nonferrous Metals in Henan Province, January–June

From January to June, the province’s output of ten major nonferrous metals reached 2.246 million tonnes, up 5.07% year on year. During the same period, electrolytic aluminum production totaled 970,000 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 9.28%, ranking seventh nationwide; alumina production stood at 5.336 million tonnes, down 4.49% year on year, placing fourth nationally; and aluminum profile output reached 522,600 tonnes, up 5.36% year on year, ranking second in the country.
From January to June, copper production totaled 337,000 tonnes, up 19.21% year on year, ranking seventh nationwide; copper‑product output reached 479,000 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 10.66%, placing it sixth nationally.
From January to June, lead production totaled 722,000 tonnes, down 2.92% year on year, ranking second nationwide; zinc production reached 198,000 tonnes, a 2.60% decline from the same period last year, placing it eighth nationally.
From January to June, the molybdenum concentrate output, converted to 45% molybdenum content, reached 49,000 tonnes, up 3.09% year on year.
