Production and Operational Performance of Nonferrous Metals in Henan Province, January–October

From January to October, Henan Province produced 3.824 million tonnes of ten major nonferrous metals, up 11.43% year on year. Among them, output of copper, aluminum, and zinc—as well as value-added copper and aluminum products—increased compared with the same period last year, while zinc production declined slightly year on year.
From January to October, electrolytic aluminum production reached 1.644 million tonnes, up 11.52% year on year, ranking seventh nationwide; alumina output totaled 8.753 million tonnes, down 0.94% year on year, placing fourth nationally; and aluminum profile production amounted to 892,600 tonnes, up 7.30% year on year, ranking second across the country.
From January to October, copper production reached 551,000 tonnes, up 11.43% year on year, ranking seventh nationwide; copper‑product output totaled 816,000 tonnes, an increase of 8.17% year on year, placing it sixth nationally.
From January to October, lead production totaled 1.266 million tonnes, up 1.20% year on year, ranking second nationwide; in Henan, zinc output for the same period reached 333,000 tonnes, down 2.96% year on year, placing the province eighth nationally.
