Wanji Aluminum Processing Has Successfully Developed High-End Mirror-Finish Aluminum Panels.
2019-02-13
Recently, Wanji Aluminum Processing successfully rolled off the production line a 10‑ton batch of 1.0‑mm‑thick mirror‑finish aluminum sheets. Testing confirmed that the product meets all customer specifications for surface gloss, ductility, reflectivity, and other key performance indicators. High‑end mirror‑finish aluminum sheets are primarily used in decorative applications such as automobile emblems, headlight reflectors, and instrument panels; they cost only about one‑third as much as stainless steel, offering significant market potential. Historically, the global supply of premium mirror‑finish aluminum sheets has been dominated by three manufacturers: Japan’s Sumitomo, Germany’s Alu‑Al, and Austria’s O‑Aluminum. To break through technological barriers and capture greater market share, Wanji Aluminum Processing established a dedicated R&D team, formulated a comprehensive strategy, and launched intensive efforts to enhance grinding‑machine filtration precision, reduce roll‑grinding roughness, and optimize rolling parameters—overcoming critical equipment‑related challenges. Meanwhile, production staff exercised meticulous care during operations, employing multiple techniques for rolling, grinding, and finishing to achieve a flawless mirror‑like surface on the sheets.
