Production and Operational Performance of Nonferrous Metals in Henan Province, January–April

From January to April, our province produced 1.4645 million tonnes of ten major nonferrous metals, up 4.15% year on year. Copper output reached 229,000 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 17.26%, ranking seventh nationwide. Electrolytic aluminum production totaled 632,000 tonnes, up 9.46% year on year, also placing the province seventh nationally. Zinc output stood at 132,000 tonnes, up 1.76% year on year, with an eighth-place national ranking. Lead production amounted to 458,000 tonnes, down 6.52% year on year, ranking third nationwide. Molybdenum concentrate, expressed in terms of 45% molybdenum content, reached 32,000 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 10.34%.
From January to April, our province produced 3.503 million tonnes of alumina, a year-on-year decrease of 5.662%, ranking fourth nationwide.
From January to April, our province produced 3.414 million tons of aluminum products, up 8.35% year on year, ranking second nationwide in aluminum output; from January to March, copper product output reached 300,000 tons, also up 8.35% year on year, placing the province sixth nationally.
