From January to June, the national output of ten major nonferrous metals increased by 8% year on year.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in June, the output of ten major nonferrous metals reached 6.15 million tonnes, up 6.1% year on year. From January to June, cumulative production totaled 36.38 million tonnes, an increase of 8% compared with the same period last year.
Specifically, in June, primary aluminum (electrolytic aluminum) production totaled 3.46 million tonnes, up 2.9% year on year, while from January to June, electrolytic aluminum output reached 20.16 million tonnes, representing a cumulative year-on-year increase of 3.4%.
In June, refined copper (electrolytic copper) production totaled 1.097 million tonnes, up 13.6% year on year; cumulative output for January–June reached 6.300 million tonnes, a 12.5% increase compared with the same period last year.
In June, lead production totaled 615,000 tonnes, up 6.8% year on year; cumulative output for January–June reached 3.883 million tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%.
In June, zinc production totaled 581,000 tonnes, up 8.4% year on year; cumulative output for January–June reached 3.477 million tonnes, a 9.3% increase compared with the same period last year.
In June, copper production totaled 2.11 million tonnes, up 6.6% year on year; from January to June, cumulative output reached 10.814 million tonnes, a 6.8% increase compared with the same period last year.
In June, aluminum production totaled 6.031 million tonnes, up 13.0% year on year; from January to June, cumulative output reached 31.875 million tonnes, a 10.2% increase compared with the same period last year.
In June, alumina production totaled 7.09 million tonnes, down 2.3% year on year; cumulative output for January–June reached 40.598 million tonnes, up 1.5% year on year.
