Shandong Weiqiao NEUI600 Aluminum Electrolysis Series (operating current: 600 kA)

China’s first successfully commissioned industrial-scale 600-kA aluminum electrolysis cell series was put into operation in November 2014. It operates at a current of 600 kA (anode current density: 0.80 A/cm²) and integrates advanced technologies including magnetic-fluid stability dual compensation, a multi-stage split truss beam structure, an integrated welded cell shell structure, a new cathode assembly design, partitioned high-position gas collection, and dry flue gas purification with counterflow technology.
