Nanshan NEUI400(III) Aluminum Electrolysis Series (Capacity: 550 kt/a)

Commissioned in December 2009, the plant operates at a current of 426–430 kA, with an anode current density of 0.80 A/cm². It employs advanced environmental protection technologies, including zoned high-position gas collection and counterflow dry flue gas purification. The cell operating voltage ranges from 3.93 to 3.95 V, and the DC power consumption is less than 12,500 kWh/t. Other key technical and economic indicators include a fluoride salt consumption of 12 kg/t.
